    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 to 8 years experience in procurement including items with high technical specifications .

    Key Technical Skills

    • Knowledge about Oil & Gas / Well Test Equipment.
    • Knowledge of INCOTERMS.
    • Knowledge of standard accounting and banking practices such as Letter of credit.
    • Computer Skill:  knowledge of MS Office Package. Knowledge in any ERP System is preferred.
  • Job description

    • Source out supplier for complex specification items/specialized requirements.
    • Take charge of procurement activities of a project team including EPM/EPC projects
    • Prepare Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) in consultation with discipline engineers / job officers and perform pricing analysis, recommend contract awards that result in best value procurement. Arrange response from vendors for the technical queries. Arrange bid clarification meetings.
    • Issue request for quotations to vendors to procure goods or services in compliance with the procurement procedures. Solicit bids from vendors; coordinate with the discipline engineers to clarify pre-bid queries from bidders.
    • Collect all relevant information (Project Procurement Schedule), prepare procurement plan for the project with the help of the senior buyer and project team.
    • Formulating and executing negotiation strategies that take full account of supply requirements, whilst ensuring cost reductions.
    • Make effective use of price agreements, consignment agreements to reduce transaction cost and inventory investment.
    • Strongly committed to follow department procedure OP 08 – Purchasing, HSE & Quality Policy of the company.
    • Strive to work towards continual improvement of department, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirement.
    • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Purchase function, so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.
