H2S service vessel that stores liquid hydrocarbons after separation and can be used as a second-stage separator or to measure liquid flow rates and combined shrinkage and meter factor.
We have standard designs usually stocked for either immediate or short delivery times. Tanks are either single or dual compartment depending on a customer’s preference and come in various pressure ratings from 50 to 250 psi and from 50 to 200 bbls capacity. Dependent upon size the unit is mounted within a CSC frame for convenient and cheap shipping.
Typically each surge tank is fitted with an automatic pressure control valve on the gas outlet to maintain back pressure and high and low level alarms for monitoring volume. All tanks are fitted with Safety Relief Valve as a standard.
